The Boozy Pecan n' Pumpkin
Don't let the ingredients fool you - this drink packs a punch! It's a bit on the heavier side, making it a great post-dinner drink to pair with your Thanksgiving desserts. It also features a beautiful pecan and caramel rim that will surely grab the attention of your Thanksgiving audience.
Start by breaking up a handful of pecans into small pieces (small enough to stick to the rim of your rocks glass). Next, take your glass and dip the rim of the glass in caramel syrup so that it is coated along the edge. Next, dip the coated rim into the pecan flakes and set the glass aside while you make the actual drink. In a shaker, add the bourbon, pumpkin spice liqueur, rumchata, and a pinch of pumpkin spice along with about 1 cup of ice. Shake the drink for about 30 seconds before straining into your glass. Garnish by adding a small squeeze of whipped cream to the edge of your glass and gently dropping a pecan on top with a light dusting of pumpkin spice.
