Autumn Sour

This drink is a perfect addition to your Thanksgiving menu, especially for those who appreciate a smoother and creamier cocktail. The added egg white for this one will give your cocktail a nice frothy top and creamy consistency, but if you're hesitant of using raw eggs, feel free to ditch the egg white and just shake with the other ingredients!
  • 2 Oz Bourbon
  • 1 Oz Apple Cider
  • 0.5 Oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch of Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Apple for Garnishing

Start by adding all of your ingredients (including the egg white) to a cocktail shaker with no ice. Shake the ingredients for approximately 15-20 seconds. Next, add about 1 cup of ice and shake again, vigorously, for approximately 45 seconds. Grab a rocks glass (ice optional), and strain your drink into the glass. Let it sit for about 30 seconds to allow the egg white to solidify a bit at the top of the drink. Finally, garnish with an ultra-thin apple slice and a sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg.
